Over the weekend Drew had the opportunity to take a rare walk back stage behind the scenes of Blazing Fury, Dollywood’s classic dark ride roller coaster. Within the video you will learn a lot about how they maintain this attraction and what the future holds for this iconic staple at Dollywood. A four year old child suffered a stroke after riding a roller coaster. According to the Dr’s treating the boy he suffered a tear to his carotid artery after riding the rides. The 4 year old boy showed no signs of injury after the rides but the next day he was suffering from vomiting and on flight home he suffer from a droop on his left side of the face. Upon arrival home the boy was unable to walk and had no movement on his left side. Doctors say this is rare and there are only three case in children. The boy has made an excellent recovery according to Doctors.
New for 2014 Six Flags Over Georgia’s Holiday in the Park event includes several rides and roller coasters as well as Christmas and Holiday lights, and even a train ride to the North Poll. Join Drew as he shows off all the lights and fun things from this event.
Holiday World announced today that Sparkler will be renamed and relocated for the 2015 season. Sparkler, a 60 foot tall Zamperla vertical swing ride, was originally located in the 4th of July section of the park This ride will now be located next to Thunderbird’s launch track by the vertical loop. Located in the Thanksgivng section of Holiday World Sparkler will now be named Crow’s Nest. Paula Werne, Director of Communications at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari stated that Sparkler’s former spot will become a seating area next season and room for new expansion in 2016. Holiday World opens to guests May 15th, 2015.

SeaWorld San Diego welcomed their 7th calf born at the park at noon on December 2,2014. The orca does not yet have a name, and weighs 300-400 pounds. The calf is the first of Kalia who had a 17 month gestation period.
Tuesday afternoon Holiday World put the last piece of Thunderbird track in place. The whole crew signed the last piece before it was lowered in to place. The coaster is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015
Steve-O from Jackass fame has been charged with a traffic infraction and fined for defacing a freeway sign in San Diego California. In May of 2014 Steve-O climbed a freeway sign that directed people to SeaWorld San Diego, and wrote “SUCKS” next to the parks name. He later posted a YouTube video of himself committing the crime. Monday he was issued a traffic citation for $239 and lawmakers argue he was a distraction to other drivers who could have caused an accident.
Meanwhile SeaWorld Entertainment stocks traded at an all time low midday Tuesday trading as low as $16.09 a share. The theme park and entertainment company has been on a down slope since November 12th when the company released its latest earnings data.
SNOSPOT TO BRING REAL SNOW TO CENTRAL FLORIDA

snow adventures for children and adults alike.

5700 Fun Spot Way in Orlando on November 21, 2014.

down the 24-foot high snow hill with its four, 120-foot slide lanes.
SnoSpot’s hours of operation which is subject to change is Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and
