Blackpool Pleasure Beach is reaching for the skies with a brand new ride for 2015!

The 42-acre amusement park has joined forces with the world famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, to launch a unique thrill ride which will take excitement sky-high!

In another world first, Blackpool Pleasure Beach will become the world’s first tourist attraction to have a ride based on the planet’s best aerobatic display team.

Preparing for deployment in the Spring, the ride’s aircraft will provide an exhilarating experience like no other!

Loved across the planet for their jaw-dropping displays which have thrilled millions, the pride of the Royal Air Force will now be represented at the *UK’s number one amusement park in a unique partnership where the rider takes control of their own plane to become a master of the skies.

Complete in Red Arrows livery, the brand new ride will also feature its own control tower from which novice pilots will be prepared for take-off.

The 72ft high, 12-seat white-knuckle ride will take you on a 360-degree tour of the skies and sits in the shadow of the world famous Big One rollercoaster. Stepping into your very own Red Arrows cockpit, you take control of the plane and spin, glide and take formation in your very own display.

Red Arrows Sky Force will have you spinning, swirling and exciting the senses while your fellow pilots take control of their own flights before touching down and checking out a dedicated a Red Arrows shop, which will feature exclusive merchandise and souvenirs designed for Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Edaville USA owner spends millions

Edaville USA located in Carver. MA is getting millions in upgrades from its owner. The theme park that was on the verge of shutting its doors is getting new lands one of which will be dedicated to the Thomas the Train and another to Princesses. Included in the new addition is a water park. The park owner Jon Delli Priscoli is spending 25 Million to add the new land and the attractions over the next few years. Thomas the Train Land is scheduled to open during the 2015 season. With the addition of the new land will also include a small increase in ticket prices. This is in addition to the renovations that where already done to the park for 2013 and 2014 that included the redoing of the parking lots and the main entry area. In 2013 the park got a few small flat rides in addition to what was already there. And according to the parks website 2014 was supposed to see the addition of 20 animatronic Dinosaurs.

PRESS RELEASE: CALIFORNIA’S GREAT AMERICA EXPANDS PLANET SNOOPY

For 2015, California’s Great America will expand and rebrand the Planet Snoopy kids area. Three new Planet Snoopy rides will be introduced and be in place for opening day in 2015 when Great America begins its magical 40th season. The entire area known formally known as KidZville will be morphed into the expanded Planet Snoopy.

The new rides will include Joe Cool’s Gr8Sk8, Peanuts 500 and Snoopy’s Space Buggies. Gr8Sk8 will be an interactive ride atop Snoopy’s giant skateboard with the feeling of going off the edge. Peanuts 500 lets racers zoom around the track and slingshot around the track ends, while Snoopy’s Space Buggies will lift astronauts into the air for a gravity defying lunar landing.

“Great America is known for its thrill rides, but we pride ourselves on a being a park for everyone. Enhancing Planet Snoopy and introducing three attractions parents can ride with children adds to our inclusive family atmosphere,” said Great America Vice President and General Manager Raul Rehnborg.
